Cell Service

Cell service is extremely spotty on the way to Shelter Cove. You will lose service for extended periods of time. We recommend plugging in your directions early, downloading offline maps, or even going old school and printing out your directions and any information needed to check into your accommodations. As you head towards Shelter Cove you usually lose service completely in Redway. Since you won’t have service we recommend downloading music or podcasts ahead of your drive. Here’s a playlist we put together.

Beach Day

On Friday we are planning a very low key beach day for anyone arriving a day ahead of time. We plan to be down by the tide pools in front of Mal Coombs park (the one with the light house). Bring layers and any snacks you want.

Change of Ceremony Location

Our ceremony has shifted to a new location. It will be taking place at the back lawn of the Cliff House at 141 Wave Dr. Whitethorn, CA 95589. It is right next to the Inn of the Lost Coast. The ceremony is outdoors so a warm layer is recommended. We ask that guests arrive at 2:30pm to the ceremony location.

Photos and Videos

Our ceremony will be unplugged, but during the reception and throughout the weekend you are welcome to take pictures and video (please be mindful of our photographer and videographer). We would love to see the celebration from your perspective so we’ve created an album where everyone can share their photos and videos. We’ve also included a QR code to the album below:

After Party

Our reception ends at 10pm at which point we will move across the street to Mario’s Marina Bar to continue the party. Mario’s will be a cash bar.

Farewell Hangout

On Sunday we will be at Surf Point Bistro at 11am. This is not a formal brunch, but will be an opportunity to grab a coffee, possibly nurse a hangover, and bid farewell to everyone.
